Connect the block
connector to the 3 pin connection on the back of the timer. It will
only go on one (1) direction.
3. Turn on the power. The
timer should now be flashing “120oF.
4. Touch the “mode”
button until the “Temp” indicator light is lit.
5. This is your actual room
temperature in Co
Note: see back page under “Temperature
Adjustments” should this not show actual room temperature.
6. Touch the “Mode”
button to light the “Temp Set” indicator.
The first “0" to the left will be flashing
If you wish to use Fahrenheit Degree
(a) Touch the “Inc.”
button to indicate “1"
(b) Touch the “Next”
button until the second “0" is flashing
(c) Touch the “Inc”
button until this shows “2"
(d) Touch the “Next”
button until the “C” is flashing
(e) Touch the “Inc”
button to show “F”
(f) Touch the “Set”
button until the “1" flashes.
The temperature that you wish the room to be is now set. The steam
unit will now maintain your room temperature at 120oF.
If you wish to use Celsius degrees
(a) Touch the “Next”
button until the second “0" is flashing
(b) Touch the “Inc”
button until this reads “5"
(c) Touch the “Set”
button until the first “0" flashes
The steam unit will now maintain your room temperature at 50oC.
This is a good starting point. You may wish to alter this “Up”
(for more heat) or “Down” (for less heat) after you
have used the steam room. This setting is your maximum desired steam
room temperature.
Note: If this not set at a temperature
higher than the actual room temperature (“Temp” indicator),
the machine will not produce steam.
7. Clock Set
(1) Touch “Mode”
until the “Clock Set” indicator light is lit. “12”
will be flashing.
(2) The clock sets on military
time
. e.g. 2 a.m. is 02:00
2 p.m. is 14:00
(3) Touch the “Inc”
button until the appropriate hour is reached
e.g. 2 p.m. will read 1400
(4) Touch the “Next
button and the first “0” will be flashing.
(5) Touch the “Inc”
button to insert the 10 minute intervals
e.g. 2:40 p.m. will read 1440
(6) Touch the “Next”
button and the last “0" will be flashing.
(7) Touch the “Inc”
button to insert the 1 minute intervals
e.g. 2:49 p.m. will read 1449
(8) Now touch the “Set”
button until the first 2 numbers (hour numbers) are flashing.
8. OPTIONAL
Auto Start
If you wish to preset the machine so that it will start at a specific
time each day
(1) Touch the “Mode”
button until the “Auto Start” indicator light is lit.
(2) Follow steps (a) through
(h) under Section 7 (Clock Set).
Auto Stop
· Touch the “Mode” button until the “Auto
Stop” indicator light is lit
· Set your desired shut off time following steps (a) through
(h) in section 7 (Clock Set).
Note: You need not use this option
to use the steam generator. If you do use it, always insert a stop
time. If you only insert a start time, the machine will continuously
run.
9. TIMER SET
Use this option if you wish a time other than the 30 minute preset
for a one-use only occasion, e.g. 1 hour.
(1) Touch the “Mode”
button until the “Timer Set” indicator light is lit.
(2) Set your desired time following
steps (a) through (h) in Section 7
(Clock Set).
Now touch the “Set” button and the steam unit will be
activated.
Note: This program will cancel
after the use. You may also override it to shut the machine off
by touching the “Off” button.
10. Secure the timer in the
electrical box.
11. Remove the protective
plastic cover from the timer face.
12. To turn on the steam unit
(30 minute preset) touch the “On” button.
13. The machine may be turned
off at any time by simply pushing the “Off” Button.
TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENTS
If it is not reading the actual room temperature (probably between
19o and 23o) you will need to adjust the timer to read the room
temperature.
To do this, following the following steps:
1. You will need a fine (eyeglass)
slotted screwdriver.
2. Turn the timer over to expose
the back
3. Touch mode button until
the “Temp” indicator light is on.
4. You will see a square blue
component (Bourns 3296) with a brass adjuster screw on the side.
5. Turn this screw clockwise
to adjust the temperature reading down or counter clockwise to adjust
the temperature reading up.
6. Set the actual room temperature
Note: If the reading is 960 C
or O0C the probe is not properly connected to the back of the timer
on the 3-pin connector.
